Dom Joly tried, but just couldn't enjoy synchronized swimming.
It seems to be the sort of thing that people on day release are encouraged to do to keep them off the crystal meth. After half an hour I was longing for the sweet release of a crack pipe, suicide, anything to make it stop.

I agree completely, and synchronized diving leaves me just as cold.
I didn't see the point either, dale. At least synchronized swimming is completely different than standard swimming and requires a unique skill set. As far as I can tell, synchronized diving is nothing more than regular diving with the creativity inhibited by the need to coordinate with another diver.
