Sweet Dreams, Opus

Berkeley Breathed lays Opus the penguin to rest after 28 years. Breathed's final word about it is here. I was a big Bloom County fan, but after it stopped I lost track of Opus until I started reading Salon.com. It's sad to see him go, but his best years were behind him.
